How to get to Turin

Turin and the Piedmont Region

Turin, the capital city of Piedmont, is the gateway to Italy from western Europe. It is linked by the Frejus and Monte Bianco tunnels to France and by the Grand San Bernardo tunnel to Switzerland. The city with its cultural proposals and its architectonic beauties, and the territory of the mountain valleys, with its millenary historical and gastronomic traditions. Turin surprises for social liveliness, cultural vitality and artistic proposal. Thanks to the vast possible itineraries to explore it (architectonic, artistic, cultural, gastronomic, sporting), Turin and the surrounding valleys represent a solution for an ideal holiday to experience a region which is rich of culture and traditions, feeling everywhere the Olympic Spirit. The alpine valleys, which have given hospitality to the Olympic Games, besides the possibility of doing sports and training on similar runs to those of the champions, boast a first level tourist offer for gastronomy, nature and local traditions. The curiosity of unexpected tourist proposals, the seduction of one of the noblest wine and food Italian traditions, the fascination of art, culture and architecture treasures kept in the old capital city of Italy and in its surroundings: you can find everything you would always have known about Piedmont on the following web sites.
